Day two of the IFAI Expo was another busy one! Even the late night rocking out at Industry Night couldn't slow us down. It was a good day to get a sense of attendees' outlook on 2022, and a common theme we heard was "optimistic."
There is no doubt that it has been a challenging time, and certainly some of those challenges are still in front of us. But in reflecting on the 100th Anniversary of the IFAI Expo, you begin to remember that every era had challenges and this industry's resiliency is certainly reflected in that longevity. And on the show floor, resiliency was not just reflected in the sense of optimism amongst attendees, but we also saw it in action with the new innovations and technologies that will continue to drive our success in the future.
Tuesday morning was the IFAI Expo Awards and Networking Breakfast. Hosted by the very funny Jonathan Palmer from Autometrix, Inc., this event was a great time for networking and honoring the great work being completed in our industry.
Herculite was proud to sponsor and be a part of this awesome event.
Back in the exhibit hall, we stopped by to check out some of the equipment booth. This year, Miller-Weldmaster was demoing their fabric welders with Herculite Patio 500 (in Miller-Weldmaster Green and Orange naturally).
There seemed to be quite a bit of interest in the equipment and in working to automate and improve fabricating processes on shop floors. We were excited to stop by and see our products in action.
A highlight of the event was the "Pet A Puppy" fundraising booth. For a very small donation, you could get some much-needed puppy snuggles on the show floor! All proceeds went to support the Industrial Fabrics Foundation and Agape Animal Rescue, a local rescue organization. These puppies were not just cute, they were also available for adoption!
